Her Journey: Two Ancient Books, One Conversation
Changqing Seymour has been a Christian for more than twenty years and a self-taught student of Chinese medicine for nearly ten. Over those years she studied the Huangdi Neijing — the flow of qi and blood through the meridians, the rhythms of the four seasons and of yin and yang — while experiencing God's faithfulness and grace through Scripture reading, prayer and fellowship in the church.
Gradually she found a deep dialogue between these two seemingly unrelated classics. It lies not in matching terms, but in how each answers life's fundamental questions — life and death, the body, time, and our final destiny — with both surprising resonance and irreducible tension.
WHY SHE WRITES

For years she has longed to write a series for ordinary readers, rooted in both Chinese medicine and the Bible. Her aims are simple: to help people live in step with the rhythms of heaven and earth, caring for the body and living a healthy, clear-sighted life; and to invite them to know the God who created heaven and earth and who, in Christ, gives the hope of resurrection. In her conviction, caring for the body and knowing God do not exclude each other. Each brings its own wisdom to the same river of life.
